“You are allowed to be both a masterpiece and a work in progress simultaneously.” –

Sophia Bush

Do you live in the land of black-or-white, all-or-nothing thinking? Are you wrestling with

complicated emotions or people telling you that you’re “too much”? Do you struggle with

your relationship with food and your body, and how it impacts your self-esteem and self-

worth? If so, I got you. My work as a licensed clinician has been centered around

helping people navigate these issues and find ways to move out of the all-or-nothing

mentality to a more flexible way of thinking, where they can embrace change without

letting it overwhelm them. In our sessions, we can discuss how to regulate your

emotions, enrich your relationships, parent your child without losing your mind, and how

to take care of yourself and make yourself a priority.

I have been trained in a number of therapeutic modalities over my 15+ years as a

licensed clinician, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral

Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, etc. and I tend to

approach my therapeutic relationship with you with an eclectic style. YOU are the expert

of YOU and are in the driver’s’ seat, while I’m the “helpful passenger,” offering

suggestions, strategies, and observations along the way to help you reach your goals

for our time together. You can expect some tough love and laughter in our sessions, so

get ready!

As a therapist of color, I consider it an honor to support various marginalized

communities, including communities of color and folx along the gender spectrum. I

recognize that I represent multiple intersections and I weave those experiences in my

sessions. I hope to hold space for you to express yourself openly and authentically.

In my spare time, I’m also a mom to a wonderful little person in elementary school, a

spouse in an interracial marriage, a daughter, and a sister. I enjoy kickboxing, heavy

weight training, true crime, and the Golden Girls. I am also an avid Michael Jackson

lover, so you’ll find some memorabilia sprinkled throughout my office!
