**Accepting new clients**
Welcome! Part of the reason you’ve found your way here might involve overwhelming anxiety, a strained relationship with food or your body, stress from work or school, difficulties with boundaries, wanting to better your communication skills, work through new transitions or doing the deeper dives into trauma. I offer a relational, supportive, and collaborative approach to ensure safety in the therapeutic space. I value authenticity as I meet my clients where they are to create goals together. Our sessions might involve aspects of dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness.
I graduated from Lenoir Rhyne University with a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My clinical experiences include working at a therapeutic boarding school with adolescents and teens who were navigating anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, and trauma. I have also worked in a residential and partial hospitalization program for adults struggling with eating disorders.
When I am not working, I enjoy playing with my three dogs, spending time in Pisgah National Forest, and riding horses.
I am so glad that you're here and are taking steps to healing and growing. I look forward to connecting.
