If you are struggling with addiction or problematic substance use, and you feel lost or hopeless, you are not alone. Not only have I been in the addiction field since 2012, I have been to the depths of despair in my own life as well. I have had some phenomenal professional experience working under some of the most brilliant mentors and supervisors in the field. All of which specialize in different forms of counseling. I try to take a little bit from all of them and create an organic and relational approach to counseling that works for me and the individuals I see. I work with adults and adolescents who struggle with addiction and substance use.
I offer individual counseling with recovery coaching, group counseling, and consultation.
Consulting:
If you find yourself in a place where you or a loved one are needing a higher level of care, I can also be a guide to help navigate the behavioral health space. We will conduct a thorough assessment of the identified patient and loved ones to help find the best possible fit for treatment for the individual and help the family to create an aftercare plan and follow the case for 3-6 months with continued support and coaching for both the family and patient. We will work with and collaborate with all treatment providers throughout the process and do our best to ensure the best outcomes. Navigating the behavioral health system can be scary these days and it's hard to know who to trust. If you find yourself struggling with this, we are here for you.
Counseling with Recovery Coaching:
A place to talk, heal, process and be in the solution. I do not claim to have the answers to all of your life’s problems. I believe you have everything you need already within you. I’m simply the sounding board to help you find your own answers and find your own peace in life.
A more reality based approach to recovery support and life skills. If you are on your recovery journey, but you need some help with accountability, goal setting, follow through, building a network, gaining independence or just learning to live life in sobriety, coaching may be a good option. We meet several times a week either in the office or in the community with daily phone contact. We identify a plan based around your goals and begin to work on it with a little extra support and accountability in your network.
If you feel nervous, guilty, ashamed, like you can’t get better or you don’t deserve to get better, take a risk and reach out. If nothing else for a free consultation to chat and see if we may be a good fit to work together. If not, I will help you find someone who can help. You have everything to gain and what do you have to lose?
