**Accepting new clients**
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker committed to and passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, understanding, and practical tools for growth. I specialize in working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, conflict, and relationship issues. Through a person-centered and holistic approach, I see each client as a whole individual deeply impacted by the systems they engage with daily—whether those systems involve relationships, work, community, or larger societal influences. In my work, I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). These tools, combined with a collaborative and empathetic approach, help clients develop self-awareness, build resilience, and make meaningful changes in their lives.
Prior to coming to Asheville DBT & Trauma, I worked in a community mental health clinic supporting clients who were seeking increased mental and physical wellness. I have also worked in hospice and palliative care providing support to patients and families who were navigating loss, grief and complex transitions.
I believe therapy is a partnership where you are the expert on your own experiences. My role is to walk alongside you, providing a safe space for exploration, growth, and healing. Together, we can work toward your goals and uncover the strengths that already exist within you. Taking the first step toward therapy is an act of bravery, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
