If you have recently been in crisis, inpatient or at a psychiatric facility, or engaging in suicidal behaviors -- we require a higher level of care prior to getting started with us. These are nearby intensive outpatient (IOP)and partial hospitalization program (PHP) programs that may be options.

Michele Finkelstein, LCSW, is a therapist in private practice in Asheville accepting new adult clients. She is specialized in DBT and takes Optum, Aetna, UMR, UHC, BCBS, and private pay.
Della Pope, LCSW, is a private practice therapist in Asheville accepting new teens, tweens, and parents. She is trained in DBT and EMDR and used to be a public school teacher before becoming a therapist. She currently is private pay, awaiting BCBS and Aetna approval. della@dellapope.com
